- Write functions with parameters, return values and default arguments
- Store and manage data with lists, tuples, sets and dictionaries
- Clean and transform text with string methods and comprehensions
- Handle errors safely with try / except / finally
- Create, read and append to files, including with the with statement
- Reuse code with built-in and your own modules
- Read tabular data from CSV and structured data from JSON
- Build classes and objects, with constructors, methods and basic inheritance
- Combine everything into a complete Student Record Management System
About this course
This is a self-learning, project-aware intermediate Python course. It assumes you already know variables, data types, input/output, operators, if/elif/else, loops, basic lists and basic functions — for example after completing a beginner course such as 'Python Programming in 5 Hours'.Each hour works like a teacher beside you: every example tells you what to type, what you should see, and why it works, following the method Read → Type → Run → Observe → Modify → Practice.
You will go deeper into functions (parameters, return values, defaults), master Python's core collections (lists, tuples, sets, dictionaries), process and clean text with string methods and comprehensions, handle errors and files safely, reuse code with modules and read real-world CSV and JSON data, and finish with Object-Oriented Programming by building a complete Student Record Management System.
Each hour ends with a practice task and a short quiz. Finish the final quiz to earn a certificate that anyone can verify online by scanning its QR code. Any Python 3 environment works — an online compiler, IDLE, VS Code or PyCharm.
