About this course

This course takes you from your very first HTML page to publishing a real website. It is designed for engineering, BCA and BSc students who are new to web development, and follows the Web Technology syllabus with extra depth.

Part A covers the syllabus topics: the structure of an HTML document, tags and attributes, text formatting, colours and hyperlinks, images, tables, and HTML5 semantic tags, audio, video and canvas.

Part B1 goes further: lists, forms and every input type, form validation, iframes and embedding, meta tags and entities, block and inline elements, file paths, accessibility, SEO, how the web works, and hosting your site free on GitHub Pages.

Part B2 prepares you for interviews with 50 common questions and model answers, a mock-interview exercise and a timed quiz. In Part C you build your own resume website step by step.

Every topic has detailed slide-style notes with colour-coded code and real browser output, a hands-on practice task, and a short quiz you must pass before moving on. You can add your own notes and bookmarks on every page, and use Read aloud to listen to the notes.

Pass the final quiz to earn a certificate that anyone can verify online by scanning its QR code.
