About this course

This course continues directly from C Programming – Part 1. In Part 1 you learned variables, input, operators, decisions and loops. In Part 2 you learn how to organise larger programs and store much more data.

You will learn functions, parameters and return values; arrays, searching, sorting and two-dimensional arrays; strings and string functions; pointers and how functions use them; structures and arrays of structures; and reading and writing files.

Every hour works like a teacher beside you: what to do, what to type, what output to expect, and why. Every program in the notes has been compiled and run, so the outputs and error messages you see are real. Step by step, the ideas come together in a complete menu-driven Student Management System that adds, displays, searches, sorts, updates, saves and loads student records.
